Roof Daddy Roofing is hiring an experienced Roofing Project Manager to lead residential and storm-damage roofing projects across the greater Houston area. You will own each job from the signed contract through final inspection: scheduling crews, ordering materials, managing budgets, coordinating with insurance adjusters, and keeping homeowners informed every step of the way. About the Role
As a Project Manager at Roof Daddy Roofing, you are the driving force behind every roof we install and repair. You will manage multiple residential and storm-restoration projects at once, leading crews and subcontractors, protecting our margins, and making sure every Houston homeowner gets the quality and communication our reputation is built on.
Responsibilities
- Manage residential roof replacement, repair, and storm-damage restoration projects from contract signing through final inspection and warranty handoff.
- Schedule and coordinate roofing crews, subcontractors, and material deliveries to keep every job on time and on budget.
- Create and manage estimates, create and submit material orders for approval.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners, providing clear updates and resolving issues quickly and professionally.
- Coordinate with insurance adjusters on storm-damage claims, documenting scope, supplements, and approvals.
- Conduct on-site inspections and quality checks to ensure workmanship meets Roof Daddy and manufacturer standards.
- Enforce OSHA and company safety protocols on every job site to keep crews and property protected.
- Track project budgets, labor, and expenses, and report progress to leadership.
- Manage permitting, HOA requirements, and local Houston-area code compliance.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of project management experience in roofing or residential construction.
- Working knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and installation best practices (asphalt shingle, metal, and low-slope).
- Familiarity with the insurance claims and storm-restoration process is strongly preferred.
- Strong leadership, scheduling, and organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple active jobs.
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
- Proficiency with project management and estimating software, plus general comfort with mobile apps and email.
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation; ability to travel between job sites across the Houston metro.
- Comfortable working outdoors and climbing ladders to inspect roofs in Texas weather conditions.
